Resin Transfer Molding

Resin transfer molding is an innovative manufacturing process that involves placing fibers into a mold. This innovative process opens up opportunities to expand the use of fiber reinforced plastics. After the fibers are placed in the mold, a thermosetting resin is injected into the mold. This process allows the flexibility to manufacture complex shapes and forms, including curves. It produces products that are strong and lightweight. Typical installations include facades and architectural details on commercial buildings, particularly franchises that are repetitively built.
